Graduate Fashion Week judging panel to include Matthew Williamson

Hot on the heels of yesterday's news that Matthew Williamson is returning to London Fashion Week, is the announcement that he is also joining the judging panel at this year's Graduate Fashion Week.

He will sit beside Giles Deacon, Elle's editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy and River Island CEO, Richard Bradbury.

"The UK has a wealth of good fashion schools which specialise not only in producing technically capable graduates, but ones who are creative and ground-breaking in their designs. I benefited enormously from the support of the industry when I began my career and am happy to lend mine to this year's emerging talent," he told Vogue.

Meanwhile on the topic of this LFW return, he said: "The fact that Burberry will be here will help. Also, I understand that the British Fashion Council are pulling out all the stops for the anniversary so I'm less nervous than I've been in the past."

A double dip of Williamson, what could be better than that?
