Felder Felder join Daisy de Villeneuve for FBC talk at ICA
German twins Annette and and Daniela Felder joined illustrator Daisy de Villeneuve for a talk at the ICA last Friday. With help from the BFC's New Gen their Felder Felder label has know reached cult status.
Part of the Fashion Business Club series of lectures the two women spoke about their upbringing, citing their mother as a prime influence: "Our mother was always really fashionable - she's the one that told us about Central Saint Martins," The statuesque twins had always stuck out in their village, especially given their 5"11 height and penchant for matching outfits.
They told Vogue about applying to CSM: "Luckily we were both accepted and that's how it started. Being together at college was a big influence. We knew we wanted to do something together - but at Central Saint Martins we did different things to gain an insight into the different aspects of the fashion industry. We're fascinated by contradictions."
