River Island A/W 09 Press Day

There are always a lot of exciting things to see at River Island Press Days. Did anyone say wet look harem trousers, thigh high metallic boots and miniature hats?

Aside from the most OTT RI's eclectic spirit filters into some really unique high street pieces. Their shocking pink cocoon coat will make such an easy statement, just sling it on over your most basic outfit and you're good to go. Other standout pieces included a fetching sequin blazer which is set to become THE must-have item this Autumn, and a great acid bright sequin dress. I guess I was too subtle with my previous comment, it's River Island of course! We've just spoken to Arieta at RI and she's told us it wont be instore until August/September... Hope you can wait that long! xx
