proenzaschouler_jackmccollough.jpgIt seems that Kiefer Sutherland and Jack McCollough have finally buried the hatchet. After their scuffle at the Met Costume Gala after-party, which resulted in Jack suffering a broken nose, Kiefer has issued an apology to the designer of Proenza Schouler.

"I am sorry about what happened that night and sincerely regret that Mr. McCollough was injured," Sutherland said in the statement.

"I appreciate Mr. Sutherland's statement and wish him well," McCollough replied in the joint statement.

A spokesperson for the Manhattan District Attorney's office declined to comment on whether Kiefer's charges of third-degree assault will be dismissed. Now that the pair have resolved their differences, a prosecutor may ask to have the case dropped.
