We Love What You're Wearing at Brighton's Great Escape: Tori's silver C&A jumpsuit

Your roving reporter was in Brighton for the Great Escape festival and duly got my camera out as soon as I spotted CQ-worthy outfits...

There are a number of semi-compulsory poses to be made when wearing a jumpsuit, this, I feel, is one of them. Tori Smith donned a silver C&A jumpsuit for her night out, which immediately brought memories flooding back of the now sadly defunct store. The retro piece makes such an impact that it makes sense to keep everything else simple, Tori teams it with canvas pumps, a black belt (also vintage) and a really simple updo. This outfit is truly terrible. Makes her legs look thick and stumpy and she appears to have little space between crotch and boobs. Awful!

Oh no! I think it's lovely. It might not be traditionally sexy but going out, making a statement and having fun I think it's near unbeatable.

omg I agree with Louise that outfit is absolutely hideous, it makes a statement alright but probably not the one you'd want to make.. retro clothes can be fantastic but jumpsuits should have been left to fester in the 80's along with shell suits, I have yet to see anyone look nice in one. *shudder*

Wow, I have to agree with Isabelle, that jumpsuit is fab! Its fun with a capital F, though I do pity her having to go to the loo!!

One change, I would have had a fierce pair of glads on if I wore this outfit.
