ditavonteese_christianlouboutin_metcostumegala2008.jpgAs we inch closer to this year's Metropolitan Museum's Costume Institute Gala, rumours of which designers will be dressing which celebs are already beginning to circulate.

So far, we've heard that Kate Moss will be dressed by Marc Jacobs and is working on a turban design with Stephen Jones. He is also believed to be dressing Helena Christensen in his namesake label, while Madonna and Kerry Washington are tipped to wear Louis Vuitton.

Calvin Klein's Francisco Costa is whispered to be dressing Halle Berry, while Karl Lagerfeld will outfit Chanel No.5 ambassador Audrey Tautou, as well as Diane Kruger.

Other celebs lucky enough to don designer duds are Gisele Bundchen, rumoured to attend the gala with John Galliano. Fellow model, Lily Donaldson, will accompany Narciso Rodriguez.

All eyes will no doubt be on Jessica Alba, who could be following in Michelle Obama's footsteps by being dressed by Jason Wu. Brian Atwood has created a special gown for Rachel Bilson, Heidi Klum will attend with Gilles Mendel, and Lauren Hutton who has recovered from a recent surfing accident, will join Michael Kors.

Along with the 'The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion' theme, expect to see a tonne of models traipsing the red carpet as well. I can't wait!
