Wearing pieces from her gorgeous A/W 2009-10 collection, Stella McCartney attended the Forces For Nature gala Monday where she was honoured for her eco-efforts.

The British designer received an environmental award by the Natural Resources Defense Council, in front of her father Sir Paul McCartney and his girlfriend, Nancy Shevell.

"I'm very much a believer that just because something is slightly more environmental you shouldn't have to think any differently in the way you design," Stella told Style File. While she also confided that she'd like to show in New York (she usually shows in Paris): "Not yet, but one day. I'd love to; I'm half New Yorker, so I'd love to."

Check out those amazing laser-cut thigh-high synthetic leather boots (pictured right). No animals were harmed in the making of those!
