Psst... Has Burberry courted Emma Watson?
With those Chanel rumours now firmly behind her, Emma Watson has reportedly caught the eye of the marketing gurus at Burberry.
According to the Daily Mail, the Harry Potter star signed a six-figure deal with the British label earlier this year. Emma was due to be photographed for the autumn/winter 2009 campaign in London last weekend. But things quickly went awry when she showed up to find that she was to be photographed alongside a group of girls.
"Emma was always supposed to be the leading lady, so when she found out it was girls she was in the campaign with, she put her foot down and had them removed from the line-up. She now stars in the campaign alongside four hunky men," a source revealed.
While Burberry is reluctant to confirm Emma in their line-up, saying that the details are yet to be finalised, as is usually the case with Burberry, their campaigns are renowned for featuring an ensemble cast.
Previous campaigns have seen models, musicians, artists and actors snapped in group scenarios. Their spring/summer '09 ads starred Lily Donaldson, photographer Emily Hope and musician Sam Beeton, amongst others.
Emma signed to Storm model agency last year. Burberry claims it will not release any information until the campaign breaks in June. Boo!
