Newsflash: Henry Holland in talks to design for Debenhams
Well this certainly might come as a bit of a suprise to many, yours truly included. Henry Holland is said to be in talks with Debenhams to become their next featured designer.
The department store is said to be courting Holland with an offer to join their Designers at Debenhams division. According to reports, they are hoping Holland will help attract a younger market of shoppers, similar to that of Topshop.
"We have had a couple of meetings but it's early days. Nothing is signed on the dotted line yet," a spokesperson revealed.

If all goes Debenhams's way, then Holland could soon be following in the footsteps of Julien Macdonald, John Rocha, and Betty Jackson, who have all designed collections for the retailer.
Recent sales figures show that Debenhams is currently outperforming Marks & Spencer and NEXT since 1st March.
But do Henry Holland and Debenhams really mesh well together? Personally, I'd assume Topshop, Urban Outfitters or even New Look (think Giles Deacon) would be more suited to Holland's street style. What are your thoughts? Tell us via our poll below.
