Simon Fuller takes another step into the fashion world
Following what must have been successful investments Roland Mouret's RM label and the Beckham's DvB empire, pop music mogul (and the Spice Girl's old manager) Simon Fuller is stepping even further into the fashion industry with a new venture called Fashionair.
Working with Sojin Lee, formerly of Net a Porter, the site will be a fashion portal integrating pop-up shops and retail partnerships, allowing users to create wishlists and moodboards and read / watch editorial and video content from experts like Liberty's Yasmin Sewell...
The industry is already flush with these kind of 'social shopping' sites (some more successful than others) so adding another into the mix is a challenge, but with the 19 Management and Net a Porter pedigree behind it, it's likely Fuller and Lee's foray into the world of online fashion may be one of the success stories. We can't wait to see it! [via Drapers Online]
