One quick glance at the new April 2009 cover of Paris Vogue and it wouldn't be altogether surprising if you barely recognised a newly auburn Scarlett Johansson raunching it up in a Dolce & Gabbana corset. Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, the shoot proved slightly difficult because Johansson had unexpectedly switched from her usual blonde locks to the darker hue, meaning Vogue ed Carine Roitfeld had a tough job when it came to choosing between different cover options.

"This cover, it was very difficult, because we want people to recognize Scarlett and then she changed her hair colour," she is heard saying in the CNN Revealed profile, which was filmed over the recent fashion week season. While a team of editors gathered around Carine to help deliberate, there's no prizes for guessing who had the final word!
