Milan Fashion Week: Burberry Prorsum A/W 2009 (or is it pre-fall?)
Christopher Bailey's A/W 2009-10 collection for Burberry Prorsum has got people talking, and not really for the right reasons. As someone on ONTD pointed out, a vast number of pieces from this show have already been seen, as the Pre-Fall collection. Either Bailey was treating pre-fall as a way of previewing of his complete fall collection, or Burberry are cutting corners by showing the same stuff again. Either way, it begs the question, is it worth doing pre-fall and cruise at all if the main shows suffer as a result? This is a gorgeous collection, but its beauty is overshadowed by the fact we've seen a lot of it before.
