After months of "is he, isn't he?" speculation, Olivier Theyskens has officially given notice and is leaving his post as artistic director at Nina Ricci. While his departure is not really a surprise, given the rumours have been gathering momentum for quite some time now, what *is* interesting is the fact that on the same day the statement was released about Theyskens, news also broke about two other designers stepping down.

Avsh Alom Gur, who took the helm of label Ossie Clark in early 2008, has announced he is resigning as creative director and will now concentrate solely on his own name label; while Drapers is reporting Carlo Brandelli has left menswear label Kilgour. What an emotional day!
