jeremyscott_barbieskatingdressdesign.jpgBritish designers are gearing up for the ongoing celebrations of Barbie's 50th anniversary. This time, the party is headed for Dover Street Market, where a special space has been dedicated to our favourite plastic pal.

The space will be curated by Henry Holland, and feature specially-designed pieces from Jeremy Scott (skating dress design, £175, pictured left) Roksanda Ilincic and Danielle Scutt (whose LFW shows were sponsored by Barbie).

Gareth Pugh has also designed outfits for 50 limited edition Ken dolls (£179.99 each).

"It was a really fun project, even designing the box. After my menswear show I had lots of ideas, so it was great timing to consider what to dress Ken in," said Pugh.

"She's such an icon and I loved choosing all the stock for Barbie at Dover Street Market. It's also quite scary how much of it I want for myself," added Holland.

  • The Barbie for Dover Street Market space will open 8th April for two weeks.
