lfw_fundingcutnews.jpgWith London Fashion Week little over a week away, news that the event could be moving from the Natural History Museum to Somerset House from next September has got us all a buzz.

Vogue reports that the ice-skating location has been scouted out for LFW's new home, with the official contract currently under discussion.

"We hear, you can expect an announcement any time soon," Vogue reports.

In 2004, LFW temporarily shifted to the Duke of York's Headquarters on the King's Road, and caused quite a fuss amongst Kensington residents due to noise and traffic.

Surely Somerset House with its close proximity to Waterloo Bride makes for an attractive alternative. Do you agree?
