Marc by Marc Jacobs is never going to be the most groundbreaking show but the mix of layered cosy clothing was like a heaping dollop of fashion rice pudding.
Pieces like the satin prom dress and the ruffled tartan skirt hinted at the collection's underlying sophistication. Warm and comforting, the tweedy fabrics and leafy hues were teamed with heavy duty snow boots and woolly tights in cute looks that will surely appeal to Marc by Marc's core demographic.
