Monsoon Fusion deals up another delicious dress

watercolour_floral_dress.jpgThis dress has been calling to me for days but I kept putting off writing about it because it's seemed such an obvious thing to do. A pretty retro-inspired floral dress? On Catwalk Queen? In a post by Gemma? Well...they do say you should write what you know, don't they? I hope at least a few of you come here because you know I'll continue to bring you pretty frocks at regular intervals.

So here it is, my latest love, a Monsoon Fusion creation that's yours for £60...

It's cotton, so I'm wondering if it looks as posh in real life as it does in photos. I fear it might be a bit flimsy and prone to creasing, though it does come with a net underskirt for constant poofiness. I like that this would work just as well right now with thick tights as it would in the Summer to a wedding. That off-shoulder neckline is also brilliant for drawing attention to this season's body part du jour!

You've got an eye for dresses, no doubt about it, Gemma. The 100 holiday dresses were amazing, QED.

Oh Gemma, you do torment me so ..... but I secretly like it. While it is warm enough to wear this dress where I live (Florida), I am unemployed so I can't afford it. I do have an interview on Thursday so cross you fingers for me that I get the job so I can buy this dress and wear it to my new job with a cute little cardigan to cover my shoulders.

  • I saw that dress in Glamour magazine, I was surprised to see that it was from Monsoon, it's lovely!
