London Fashion Week: Josh Goot A/W 2009-10
As an Australian I am, of course, naturally curious about the progress Josh Goot is making overseas. In his second consecutive collection at London Fashion Week, the Aussie designer fused futuristic elements with rock textures - a theme we have also seen in Marios Schwab's and Graeme Black's collections this week. Body-con was still a strong element, but this time played more of a back-seat to sculptured silhouettes and tailoring.

Two-tone outfits in cream and black were striking as were the ribbed print garments that went from neck to ankle. Parts of the collection held an almost '60s mod-feel and despite a last minute floor change, guests still packed the house to see what Goot had to offer.
