Lisa Snowdon joined a group of war veterans at the launch The National Lottery Awards 2009 at the Imperial War Museum yesterday, and to get into the spirit of things, she got dolled up with victory roll hair, a military jacket and brogues. What we were most interested in, though, was the dress she had on underneath. Continuing the vintage theme, Lisa picked a £45 dress from Love Miss Daisy vintage. An early 60s piece, it's not quite the right era but it's a good enough match for the look she's going for!

Love Miss Daisy is a really good vintage resource, especially if you're new to vintage shopping and unsure how to find the good stuff. The collection is incredibly well edited and there's even a section dedicated to current trends, a 'collection' of vintage clothing specially selected for Spring / Summer 2009.

The prices are affordable and on a par with what you'll pay elsewhere (outside of eBay). It's also brilliant for wedding dresses if you're lucky enough to be getting hitched soon. There's not an 80s meringue in sight!
