First look: Jerry Hall's Chéri-inspired ads for Chanel
Proving that you don't need to be a young whippersnapper to get in front of the camera, Jerry Hall has spiced things up for Chanel. The 52-year-old stars in the accessories catalogue for Chanel alongside model Baptiste Giabiconi. Photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, the campaign is inspired by Colette's novel, Chéri.
"It is this whole idea of seduction that is summarised here that appeals to me. One of a very young man fascinated and attracted by what a woman does: her wardrobe, her perfume, her movements, her allure, etc.," explains Lagerfeld.
