Eco chic labels for S/S 09: EDUN
As you all know London Fashion Week on Friday, so we're getting Hippyshopper's Abi to do a bit of a whistlestop tour of the current crop of new clothes from eco-friendly and ethical designers. Today, it's the turn of EDUN, the ultra-hip label founded by Bono from U2 with the creative genius of rising star Rogan Gregory. The ethos behind the label is to bring trade - not aid - to the third world.

Everything about the S/S collection is casual and cool, but it has a smartness to it that really stands out. This is partly due to the use of colour: t-shirts splashed with high-contrast paint, black cut-out tops layered over white pants, monochrome-effect dresses and wide belts, but also comes down to the designers ingenuity at producing the most elegant, slouchy styles.
EDUN clothing is available in the UK through House of Fraser nationwide, Lulie B in Brighton or online at Equa or Adili.
