Breaking news: Beth Ditto gets naked for LOVE's debut issue - Check it out!

OMFG! So it's no secret that Beth Ditto was hand-picked by Katie Grand to be LOVE magazine's first cover girl, but we had no idea that she was going to bare all for the job. The sensational Gossip singer has stripped off a second time to launch the debut issue of LOVE (the last time was for NME in 2007). Advanced copies are set to hit Dover Street Market and Harvey Nichols from Saturday now instead of today because apparently they are still being printed. Although if you're in the area, it's worth a look.

I quite like the overall look with the hair and make up contrasting with her pale skin, but it is so odd to see that her nip nips are gone (obviously), she has firm boobs and such smooth skin on her thighs and bum....me thinks more than a touch of airbrushing?

Ok course by usuing beth diito naked as the first cover will bringmuch attention to the mag! good move for a new magazine

I am all in favour of healthy women, I loathe the size zero skinny minnies we're constantly having shoved down our throats, but promoting an obese woman is not healthy. It's just the media trying to say "oh look aren't we daring using a fat woman on our magazine, aren't we marvelous" It would be far better if they promoted healthy body sizes. It seems to be one extreme to the next with very little inbetween. Show me a healthy size 10 or 12, not a 6 or a 26 thanks. Beth Ditto is grossly overweight and far from a good role model, she is just as bad as some skeletal size zero.

I like it. I think the image is really strong though I suspect heavily airbrushed and the cover is excellent. I don't really see that Love is promoting obesity by having an image of Beth Ditto on their cover. Any more than having an image of Pete Doherty on your cover is promoting drug use. I don't think people are going to look at it and think it's great to be that fat. Though I'm sure they are going to think 'wow what a brave woman'
