By winning the inaugural award, William will now be able to stage his first catwalk show at London Fashion Week.

A graduate from the London College of Fashion, William has risen through the ranks which culminated in him just missing out on winning last year's Fashion Fringe.

The 22-year-old has also worked with Giles Deacon and Jean Charles de Castlebjac.

"It is fantastic to be the first recipient of Fashion Scout's new sponsorship award as it will not only provide me with a great platform to showcase my work but also the opportunity to develop my label," Tempest told Vogue. "I'm really looking forward to working with the Vauxhall Fashion Scout team."
