olivier_theyskens_outatninaricci.jpgAre you just as confused as I am? Rumours have been swirling for months that Olivier Theyksens is heading out the exit door at Nina Ricci, but were quickly dispelled last month.

Now, according to Grazia, the buzz from Paris Couture Week is that Theyskens has officially left the label. This is despite an announcement barely a week ago that he will add an increased accessories line to Nina Ricci.

He said: "When the economy changes, it's not like you want to start eating bad-tasting chocolate. It's important to study the market and to feel you are right with it. But if I felt we had to start doing simple clothes, I'd be doing them."

No confirmation of his departure has been made as yet, but according to sources it's because his latest collection is failing to sell.
