Cure a tough of the blues with some Gucci-inspired shopping at Additions Direct

Swathes of Ocean-inspired sheer blue silk floating gracefully across the body...you'd be forgiven for thinking I'm talking about Gucci here. But I'm not. In fact, I'm talking about Additions, the catalogue once owned by Argos and now part of the Shop Direct group. Their collection is a lesson in hit and miss so you'll need to search - for every Gucci-style dress (right, £36) or pretty bow-detail tunic top (left, £22) there are polyester bootcut trousers or cropped khaki combats...

What's more interesting, though, is the fact that the Additions, Littlewoods and Kays catalogues are identical. The only difference is the price. That same Azure silk dress is marked up to £44 at Littlewoods and Kays.

Interessant, non?!
