Cheryl Cole's February '09 British Vogue cover revealed
Despite all the dramas on the day of the shoot, Cheryl Cole's cover for British Vogue has been unveiled. The Girls Aloud star has posed for the February '09 issue, which was dogged with problems including a run-in with stylist Bay Garnett on the set of the photo session. But it's her comments inside the mag about diets and her feelings about claims that her husband, footballer Ashley Cole, cheated on her that have sparked the most interest.
To find out what she told Vogue, read on...
In January last year, the tabloids went to town over a story in which a hairdresser claimed that she slept with Ashley while he was married to Cheryl. Now the X Factor judge has opened up about that period in her life.
'It was horrendous,' she said. 'But look, Ashley's young and he's got a young mentality - for his age anyway.'
'He's learning,' she added. 'He has a beautiful soul, he's a really nice guy and I'm not stupid, you know. I'm really not. I know what I'm doing. I've had enough knocks in the past to know what the circumstances are, and I'm happy. If other people aren't, then that's their problem.'
