Boy is Barbie is on a fashion mission right now, or what? As if she didn't have enough to do, what with organising a show at New York Fashion Week and a retrospective celebrating 50 years, she is now hosting her own show at London Fashion Week too.
Mattel will sponsor two of Britain's leading designers, Roksanda Ilincic and Danielle Scutt next season. And as a token of their gratitude they will dress 50 limited edition Barbie dolls in outfits inspired by their own collections.
"I couldn't wait to dress Barbie; she's such an iconic model, and the perfect front row show guest," said Roksanda.
"Dressing Barbie has been so much fun, but she's no stranger; I worked on a project with her at college before I graduated, and thankfully she came back to support my show," said Danielle.
