olivier_theyskens_outatninaricci.jpgA spokesperson for Olivier Theyskens has been quick to jump on those rumours that the designer is about to get the chop as artistic director at Nina Ricci.

Reports last week suggested that Theyskens's spring '09 show may be his last have been rebuffed by Mario Grauso, president of Ricci parent company Puig Fashion.

"At this point, we're very happy with his contribution," he told WWD. "I look forward to seeing his next show, after which we'll start the negotiations, which is typical."

Grauso also confirmed that Theyskens will stick around at the label until his current contract expires next October. The 31-year-old replaced Lars Nilsson at the helm of the house in 2006.
