Newsflash: Kate Moss to stick around at Topshop for the next three years
So really that's why they were so happy the other day... This probably comes as little surprise to many, but Kate Moss has just signed on for another three years at Topshop.
Sir Philip Green knows a cash cow when he sees one, and he isn't about to let his favourite supermodel go anytime soon, securing her for a few more collections.
Kate will continue her collaboration with the retailer by producing more clothing lines, as well as adding lingerie and accessories ranges to her repertoire *squeal*
"The last two years have been an exciting experience and Topshop has given me the perfect platform to develop my own collection, which is something I've wanted to do for a long time," Kate said in the statement.
"I believe this has been a great partnership for both Topshop and Kate. Having had two years' experience, I am confident that Kate's collection now has the potential to become a significant global brand within Topshop," Green added.
The Croydon-born model's next range is due to hit stores in March next year. And for our friends in New York: brace yourselves, because it will also be headed your way too. Topshop's first American store is due to open in the same month... I know, finally!
There's still no word on whether Cheryl Cole will be joining her on Topshop's books, but fear not - I have my ear to the ground for any futher updates.
