katemoss_libertytopshopannouncement.jpgI have been hoping something like this would happen with Kate Moss's brand for Topshop for some time now. Don't misunderstand me, I *heart* her stuff - heck I didn't queue up for eight bleeding hours for her debut range for nothing! But let's be frank, while her collections continue to sell-out, they wouldn't hurt from a bit of freshening up, an extra bit of oomph, if you get my drift.

This is why I am over-the-moon to be able to reveal that Kate will be collaborating with print masters, Liberty, for her spring/summer '09 collection. She will be teaming up with their designers to create pretty fabrics for her next round of dresses. Topshop confirmed the report in this morning's WWD. Although details are scarce, we do know that Kate loves a bit of floral with her frocks, so expect loads of gorgeous Liberty-esque prints for next year. Genius!

Meanwhile, Liberty has also just launched a range of gorgeous lingerie for Topshop. The collection hit Topshop's Oxford Street store on Monday, and includes a ruffle pansy-print bandeau bra, called 'Miranda' (see above, left), a set of 'Strawberry Thief' boyshorts, and a cute rose camisole called 'Carline'.

Prices vary from just £8 up to £20 a piece. The collection is available via Topshop's website, and another range has already been slated for January.
