Topshop bring us more from Louise Goldin...but the prices are going up.
Topshop have just put up a new crop of designer diffusion pieces from British designer Louise Goldin, and as usual they're edgy, modern knitted pieces that'll definitely get you noticed.
However, I am increasingly surprised at the high prices of the designer pieces at Topshop. In the sale, items from designers like Meadham Kirchoff and Ann-Sofie Back were reduced down to at little as £20, implying that the ranges are not selling when garments are priced well over £100. But that doesn't stop this rather fabulous skater dress being sold for £160. Obviously Goldin's name is a pull, and the great thing about these Topshop collections is that they really do resemble the mainline stuff. But who's got that much cash to splash on the high street?
