Fashion designers often look a little ridic (the swashbuckling John Galliano and the powdered Karl Lagerfeld are two names that spring to mind) but on the whole I'm happy to overlook it because of their talent. This time though, Valentino has gone a little too far. The Italian designer has always been of the mahogany persuasion but now his tan has reached Ronseal proportions! Especially when contrasted with the pale & interesting Sarah Jessica Parker, who looks lovely in her shimmering Balmain dress.
