Whispers are circulating again that Madonna could be the new face of Louis Vuitton's spring/summer '09 campaign. I know what you're thinking - here we go again...
The goss is that the ads have already been shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, although when that actually took place is anyone's guess. Madge has been so busy trotting the globe with her Sticky and Sweet tour, and fighting off press attention over her recent divorce announcement, it is any wonder that she's had time to sleep, let alone pose for an luxury ad campaign.
This isn't the first time that the newly-single queen of pop has been rumoured to model for Louis Vuitton. Back in 2006, speculation mounted that Madge would appear for LV but quickly fizzled out.
Could now be the time for Marc Jacobs to let his pal step in front of the lens? I suppose it would be the best revenge tactic... after all, it worked a treat for Anne Hathaway recently.
