Liz Hurley set to reignite fur debate with Blackglama A/W '08 campaign
Liz Hurley might want to make sure there isn't any PETA-loving paint-throwers lurking outside her home, after these pictures of her are bandied about. The British actress/model stars in the autumn/winter '08 campaign for controversial fur house Blackglama. She isn't the first, nor will be the last major celeb to don a black mink for the luxury label. Past 'Blackglama Legends' include Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson, and Linda Evangelista.
Gisele Bundchen offered her regret over starring in a previous campaign, after she riled animal-rights protestors.
"It was bad decision on my part, because I don't wear fur and I understand their [PETA's] cause," she said in an interview. "I am the biggest animal lover in the world. I have four dogs and two horses, and I have rescued animals all my life."
While it remains to be seen what the reaction will be to Liz's ads, we wouldn't want to be standing beside her at a fash bash anytime soon.
Meanwhile, at the opposite end of the spectrum Natalie Imbruglia has been recruited for PETA's latest anti-fur campaign - click here to see.
