Last week Arcadia once again put on the mother of all press days, with new season Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Evans et al all on display for us to drool and salivate over (and obviously have us create lengthy wishlists in the process!) Catwalk Queen was there to check it all out - read on to find out what you can expect for Spring/Summer at Topshop...

Topshop was the absolute highlight for me and while I felt only lukewarm love for the A/W 08 harlequin-inspired collection, Spring Summer '09 is all my dreams come true! The pieces were boxed into three themes - Hope and Glory, Memphis and Nouveau Sport but, as we were told by the lovely PR girls, there are also definite Aztec, eighties and 'voodoo' influences coming through.

Hope and Glory is all floral teadresses, Union Jack prints on blazers, bloomers and lace - perfect for those English roses who love their vintage.

Memphis is where I think I will find myself - denim corsets, studded jeans bleached to within an inch of their life, Mexican embroidery, crochet and cowgirl-like tassels... the perfect combination of folksy and tough.

Nouveau Sport could possibly be the non-fussy option, thanks to harem pants, loose longline vest tops and some great basic lightweight blazers.

For those who missed the Topshop Unique show at London Fashion Week, the pieces were on display again... and only seeked to emphasise how much I am dying to get my hands on those heart print pieces!
