CQ Gallery: The stars at the British Fashion Awards 2008

Last night's British Fashion Awards held at Lawrence Hall in Westminster was the place to be, if nothing else but to star gaze. Our top industry models, designers, journalists, and other fashion aficionados took to the Swarovski crystal-strewn black, not red, carpet to cheer on their fellow nominees. As we already mentioned, Luella Bartley was named Designer of the Year, stealing the crown from Stella McCartney. Everyone it seemed, except Kate Moss, was there with special appearances from Anastacia (remember her?) and the Strictly Come Dancing crew. Guests included Claudia Schiffer, Yasmin Le Bon, Alexa Chung, Sophie Ellis Bextor, Pixie Geldof, Alice Dellal, Tamara Mellon and her boyf Christian Slater.
