CQ Gallery: Star-studded Atlantis hotel opening in Dubai

Dubai was the place to be last night if you are an A-list celebrity, with the lavish Atlantis hotel finally opening its reportedly $1.5 billion doors and inviting in the creme de la creme from the worlds of music, Hollywood, sports and politics. There were even a few royals thrown in for good measure.

Around 2,500 big names were shipped into town and put up at the hotel, which is probably how the party quickly racked up a $20 million bill. Oh, and the $1.5 million paycheck for Kylie Minogue's 45 minute set probably helped too...
Among the guests watching Kylie's performance were Robert De Niro, Janet Jackson, Lily Allen, Charlize Theron and surprise surprise, Lindsay Lohan, who is continuing her tour of parties and public appearances.
