British Harper's Bazaar gets up close and personal with Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie
is British Harper's Bazaar's December '08 cover girl. The American actress is photographed close-up for the cover, and it comes as no surprise that she was chosen at the same time that her latest film, The Changeling, hits cinemas. I must say, that while she would still look amazing with a paper bag over her head, there isn't anything particularly remarkable about this cover. Do you agree/disagree? Tell us below.

I kind of agree. Angelina is my fave Hollywood starlet. She is absolutely gorgeous but I think the pic looks overly photoshopped.

Why does it have to be 'remarkable'? I'm more than ok with her being beautiful and gracing the cover of a magazine in a tasteful photo.

The first question I have is why? Magazine's come out each month with a new cover that attempt to push boundaries...why can't a simple closeup of a beautiful woman be appreciated for what it is. Photographically, it is a gorgeous picture that supports simplistically the scrawled print below it...Pure Glamour as well as the teaser 350+ seductive looks. She does look seductive.

I think the point of the picture is that Angie's face IN ITSELF IS remarkable. She's literally the most beautiful woman to ever walk the planet...why on earth would she need a circus around her to "make" the photo??

If this is a December cover it doesn't give me the holiday vibe, doesn't give me a sense of individuality that Angelina usually carries and it looks like airbrush city.. I don't want to see candybox when I see her.

Something is afoot... I agree, just as this pastel shaded pix seems dramatically photoshopped for effect, seems there's a campaign unfolding world-wide, softening image of this beautiful and previously distant woman. Especially seems to be targeting jennelina followers' hearts, with sudden current availability and chatter -- the kids and domestic chit-chat. Kind of a "so what", I guess, in light of the reality that reality here is only what is presented as reality.

I often don't get why people don't see angelina as a manipulating , controlling person, does she said sure i will never sleep with a married man? and then now she did, she is ok looking to me and i wouldn't see or paid to see her at the movies.

It's remarkable because she's there. She's stunning.

I think the most attractive thing about Angelina is some of the oddities or non symetrical things about her face that work in her favor to make her gorgeous in an exotic, provocative aspect. The cat eyes, the humungous beautiful set of teeth inside of fantastic"ly" feminine lips. The long, graceful body and hands. What she stands for. Her looks and her life are mesmerizing in the most beautiful way. I hope when my daughter grows up she's like her.
