Alexander McQueen has been tapped to design a collection for US retailer Target.
The initiative called Designer Collaborations, which is separate from Target's Go program, aims to attract well-established designers to produce clothing at high street prices.
McQueen's collection will be called McQ, and will be based on his mainstream collection. WWD reports: "The collection will have rock 'n' roll influences and edgy details such as studs and tattoo-print fabrics."
Further Designer Collaborations will be announced for the future, with each collection available for a limited time. McQueen's Target line will hit stores from 1st March until 11th April. Just one more reason for a visit Stateside.
