There's a lot about this Oasis dress that I love. Firstly, the colour is fabulous. This shade of blue works on everyone (especially redheads - see Nikka Costa for proof) and is perfect for drawing attention.
I also love the shape, the draping, and the cocktail chic cut.
But then there's the fabric. I can't help thinking satin is just a little bit..um...soap awards. Not that there's anything wrong with the soap awards, but they do bring us things like this (on the left). It's hard to pull off fitted satin without looking cheap. Do you think you could with this lil number?
