Gwyneth Paltrow's stylist spills her red carpet forecast
Besides telling reporters that she is standing by her pal Madonna while she goes through her break-up, the other thing that caught our attention this week was with Gwyneth Paltrow's red carpet style. On Monday night, the actress stepped out for the premiere of her new film, The Two Lovers, not in her usual ensemble of a minidress and skyscraper heels, but in a full-length number and flat (yes, flat) gladiators.
So, what's the deal? Find out after the cut...
Gwynnie's stylist, Maria Serra, took a minute to chat to Grazia about her famous client's red carpet style, and what we can expect from her on the press junket for The Two Lovers, over the coming days. But more important is the question - where were the extreme heels?
"She damaged her knee over the weekend so we had to find a new outfit on Monday morning!" Serra explains. "The Ferragamo dress had been shortlisted in case the weather was bad so we opted for that one. I introduced Gwyneth to Felder Felder too. We have the same taste in coffee - soya decaf lattes! - and our styles are a great match too"
Soya decaf lattes, a perfect fashion match? Erm, naturally.
On what we're likely to see on Gwyneth very soon, Serra continues: "We've done fittings for all Gwyneth's upcoming events for the film. We still have Paris to do. There are more long dresses, jumpsuits and some short dresses too."
Bring back the silly skyscrapers I say.
