British Fashion Awards 2008 - the nominees announced
With November 25th booked for the British Fashion Awards 2008, the next natural step is to find out who has been nominated for this year's awards.
The British Fashion Council has revealed the nominees across ten categories, including Designer of the Year and the BFC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design. Among the nominees revealed so far, are Agyness Deyn, Giles Deacon, Stella McCartney, and Agent Provocateur (full list below the jump).
"The awards celebrate the extraordinary talent within the British fashion industry as highlighted in this year's nominees list. I would like to thank Swarovski for their support of the British Fashion Awards 2008 and for their sponsorship of the Emerging Talent Awards, which will help to support two of our newer talents as they establish their careers and businesses," said Hilary Riva, BFC CEO.

We will have to wait until the event to hear who is in the running for Designer of the Year. The BFC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design will be announced on November 11.
