ASOS take on American Apparel with a block colour stretch dress
Which way does your moral compass point? Would you rather buy from a shop that copies celeb and designer clothing and outsources to foreign factories / suppliers, or from an company with ethical all-American factories but a CEO who masturbates in front of journalists and has been subject to five sexual harassment lawsuits?
Well, if you want either of these dresses, you'll need to pick. Copycat website ASOS.com have taken on American Apparel by producing their own version of the stretch jersey dress that's become something of a trademark for the cult US brand. There's only a couple of quid in it price-wise (ASOS's longer version is £22, American Apparel's is £24) which leaves you with quite a moral dilemma.
So let's put it to a poll...
There's no 'neither' option for a reason. You have to choose!
