The scrum are assembled and ready at London Fashion Week

Whenever I attend a fashion week show, for some reason my attention usually always drifts towards the pit of photographers crammed at the end of the catwalk, a.k.a. the scrum. Why? I'm not exactly sure. Perhaps it is due to all the waiting around before a show begins, perhaps it is curiosity to see which celebrities they will turn their lenses upon (I am usually an appalling star-spotter, compared to CQ ed-in-chief Gemma who can usually identify a D-lister at 20 paces) or perhaps I am simply enamoured by all the activity that goes on in the scrum. The shouting, the shoving, the cat calls. Seriously, those girls and boys are brave.

Here was the scrum yesterday at the Caroline Charles show. It is also fascinating to watch what lengths some guests will go to to capture the attention of these guys... Let the games begin!

Aww, it feels like just last month that I was helping you guys cover last season's LFW. I miss the days! I'll be reading your coverage every day, and living all your adventures vicariously through you! Hope you have a fab time; I'm not at all jealous ;P
