The bloody gothic influences of Rodarte's last show have been toned down and polished into a cleaner and more otherworldly look. The ragged knits and statement legwear are still there, but this time they've been used as a foil for grecian chiffon dresses and skirts.
Ribcage-like harnesses and the predominantly cream palette added to the pared-down feel and brought to mind sun-bleached carcasses and salt deserts. Space sunset colours of orange, navy and purple were used as fitting accents.
