More on Tom Ford's directorial debut revealed
More details have come to light on Tom Ford's forthcoming directorial début, a movie adaptation of Christopher Isherwood's 1964 novel, A Single Man.
The film, about a gay college professor who is dealing with the sudden death of his lover, is tipped to begin filming in Los Angeles this November.
Some of the big names already linked to the project include the devilishly handsome Colin Firth, who is believed to be a strong contender for the role of the professor. Firth's rep told E! Online that he is "in discussions".
Meanwhile, Julianne Moore and Jamie Bell are also said to be attached to the film.
"It should be very cool with all those '60s cars and great mid-century homes," a source said.
