Milan Fashion Week: Alessandro Dell'Acqua S/S 09

Alessandro Dell'Acqua is usually a show which, historically, I've breezed over rather quickly - today I have discovered this has probably been a big mistake on my behalf. When poring over show photos from spring / summer '09, I actually found myself with too many great looks to include in this rather large gallery and not enough space! Sheer silk, chiffon and lace are still going strong in the season's collections, and were seen here in shades of grey, nude, rich forest green and black. Paired with fringing, ostrich feathers and crochet, they created a luxe bohemian effect - I can't decide which I'm loving most: the grey silk-gold lace combinations, the bizarre boots with super-tiny peep-toes or the crochet pieces (get a load of those knickers!)
