London Fashion Week Gallery: Julien Macdonald S/S 2009

Julien Macdonald seems to have grown up over recent seasons. His collections are still suitably glamorous, but gone are the overt bum-revealing bright sequin numbers and over-embellished gowns in favour of something a little more subdued. Perhaps the economic crisis has forced him to play down his uber-glam reputation this season, instead picking a palette of beige-gold and dark blue, and sending jumpsuits and trousers down the catwalk alongside his trademark shock frocks.
