sarah jessica parker young.jpgIf you thought that the end was nigh for Carrie Bradshaw after she tied the knot with Mr Big in Sex and the City: the movie, then you are sorely mistaken.

She has been revived, yet again, in a new two-book deal between Candace Bushnell and HarperCollins, which will examine Carrie Bradshaw in her teenage years. The Carrie Diaries, scheduled for release in 2010, will follow Carrie in high school before she became the Manolo-wearing gal that we all know and love.

"Carrie in high school did not follow the crowd - she led it. It was there that she began observing and commenting on the social scene," said Bushnell.

But who will play teen Carrie? Please don't say Miley Cyrus.
