House of Holland London Fashion Week catwalk show

Tartan is out and floral is in according to Henry Holland. The designer has ditched the checks in favour of a collection with mixed together florals and polka dots. No fair! Polka dots were going to be my own personal alternative to check, I will stay one step ahead of you Mr Holland.
It was a heavily '90s influenced collection with retro tailoring and denim cuts softened with sheer florals and punctuated by bustier detailing and clashing brights.

The afterparty was a rip-roaring success, ending in a conga line with Jaime Winstone, Agyness Deyn, Alexa Chung and Nick Grimshaw. Perhaps that explains the shot of Henry looking a little perplexed at the bash?!

  • I'm going for houndstooth as a tartan alternative.
